Recovery Pro - File Recovery is a data restoration tool built for Android devices, published by a developer operating under the name Makes Your Life Easier. The app targets people who have accidentally deleted photos, videos, documents, or messages and want a straightforward way to get them back without paying for a desktop recovery suite or visiting a repair shop. It markets itself as an all-in-one rescue kit, and its central promise is that lost files can be found and restored directly on the phone.

The program is aimed at ordinary users rather than technicians: someone who wiped a gallery by mistake, a student whose assignment vanished after a crash, or a traveler who lost vacation clips when a memory card misbehaved. That is a large and sympathetic audience, and the appeal of fixing the problem on the spot is obvious. In practice, results are mixed. The interface is easy to navigate, and the scanning process is simple enough for anyone to follow, but the free version is limited and several functions push you toward a purchase. I tested it after deleting a handful of screenshots and some older images, and it did surface a portion of them, though not everything I hoped to see. The extra tools, such as a recycle-bin style vault for files you might want back later, add some value if you remember to use them before data is overwritten. Overall, the core recovery works within the usual limits of phone-based scanning, and the add-ons feel like padding more than essentials.

I would recommend this app to casual users who need a quick, low-effort attempt at recovering recently deleted media and who understand that success depends on how much has happened on the device since the deletion. It suits people who want to try something themselves before seeking professional help, and it is most useful right after an accidental delete, when the phone has not been used heavily. Anyone with critical business data or a device that has suffered physical damage should look elsewhere.

• 🔍 Deep scan mode that searches internal storage and, on supported devices, external SD cards for deleted media and documents.
• 🗂️ A recovery vault that stores selected files in a protected folder so they can be restored later.
• 🖼️ Preview before restoring, letting you check thumbnails and file details so you avoid bringing back junk.
• 📤 Simple export options that save recovered items back to the phone or share them to cloud storage.

• ✅ The interface is clean and forgiving, so first-time users can start a scan in under a minute.
• ✅ Previewing files before recovery saves time and prevents clutter.
• ✅ The vault adds a practical safety net for files you delete often.

• ❌ The free tier is restrictive, and the upgrade prompt appears at the worst moments.
• ❌ Scan results are inconsistent; some recoverable files simply never appear.
• ❌ Ad placements interrupt the workflow and make the app feel less trustworthy.
